I know quality is more important than quantity.

That’s common sense, and it’s not even worth talking about. I mean, it is most definitely worth talking about, but then we’ll be here all day.

If you clicked on this story, then you most likely want action inspired fuel, not philosophical rants. I enjoy both, but I’m writing this for you, well really for me, but for you too.

Okay, let’s get to the advice. It was all in the title, but thank you for sticking around to read my words.

I mean they aren’t mine, but I guess they are.

Advice:

You need to build the habit first.

Maybe I’m wrong, and I’ll shift gears in the future, but if you have so much fear that you can’t seem to hit the publish button, then you should start with this approach.

You can always change your strategy later. Intention and strategy come later. At least that’s what I keep telling myself. It’s okay to change your mind.

If you get to a point where you’re like, “No I’ve had enough of just posting whatever comes to mind, and want to be more intentional”, then great, do that.

Most likely, you won’t get to that second part until you stop fantasizing about a writer’s life.

About being a content creator. Daydreaming about all the buzzword careers that you want.

About all the things that come as a by-product of you hitting the damn publish button.

Stop fantasizing and start doing it.
